TRAMA

 Arseny Lebedev lives a normal life. During the day, he’s a mechanic. At night, he livestreams a fairy tale video game called Paladin. And sometimes—only sometimes—he kills people. But they all deserve it.

Premessa: nella narrazione troverete i personaggi della serie "I mali necessari", disponibile anche in lingua italiana. Questo è il primo volume della serie "Jericho's boys". 

Arsen vive di giorno come meccanico e Twitch streamer, giocando a Paladin e di notte come assassino, appartente alla banda di Jericho. A discapito di quello che penserete, Arsen uccide persone riprovevoli che hanno commesso reati atroci, che sono rimasti impuniti. 

In una di queste missioni, incontra un ragazzino indifeso ma coraggioso di nome Ever. 

Dopo aver vissuto un passato all'insegna di abusi, Ever viene salvato da Arsen, che gli promette di prendersi cura di lui. Nonostante si presenti come un piccolo pulcino spaurito, Ever si lascia curare nell'anima e nel corpo. 

Ho avvertito tanta dolcezza e genuinità da parte due protagonisti, è impossibile non amarli entrambi. Sono due persone che hanno condiviso gli stessi incubi, ma che la vita li ha portati ad incontrarsi. Insieme scoprono se stessi e si affidano a quell'amore che cresce attimo dopo attimo❤️. 

La scrittura è semplice e lineare. La trama è originale. I sentimenti sono reali, veri e puri. Devo proprio dirlo, Onley James mi ha scaldato il cuore.
